Brexons Workwear Ltd
Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement
1. Introduction
Brexons Workwear Ltd (“Brexons Workwear”, “we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all areas of our business. We recognise our responsibility to take a proactive approach in preventing modern slavery and human trafficking within our operations and supply chain.
Modern slavery is a criminal offence and a violation of fundamental human rights. It takes various forms, including slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, and human trafficking. Brexons Workwear has a zero-tolerance approach to these practices.
This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps we have taken to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking is not taking place within our business or supply chains.
2. Our Business
Brexons Workwear Ltd is a UK-based supplier of workwear, PPE, uniforms, and branded clothing solutions. We provide products and services to businesses across a wide range of sectors, supplying both standard and customised garments, including embroidery and printing services.
Brexons Workwear is a family-owned business built on principles of trust, honesty, and integrity. These values guide our approach to responsible sourcing, supplier relationships, and customer service.
3. Our Supply Chain
Brexons Workwear does not manufacture the majority of products we supply. Instead, we source from a network of established UK and international suppliers, wholesalers, and manufacturers.
Our supply chain includes:
- Workwear and PPE manufacturers
- Garment wholesalers and distributors
- Branding and decoration supply partners
- Logistics and delivery partners
We understand that certain industries and regions may carry a higher risk of modern slavery, particularly where labour-intensive manufacturing is involved. We are committed to improving transparency and maintaining responsible supplier relationships.
4. Policies and Commitments
Brexons Workwear has adopted policies and principles designed to support ethical trading and responsible supply chain management.
Our approach is guided by the following principles:
- Transparency – We aim to work openly with suppliers and customers and build trusted partnerships.
- Accountability – We hold ourselves and our partners to high standards of integrity.
- Fairness – We treat employees, suppliers, and customers with respect and fairness.
- Responsible Partnerships – We work with suppliers who share our values and demonstrate ethical practices.
- Continuous Improvement – We actively seek ways to strengthen our processes and reduce risk.
- Community Impact – We aim to make a positive difference through responsible business growth.
These principles form part of our wider ethical commitment and support our long-term responsibility goals.

5. Due Diligence and Supplier Management
Brexons Workwear takes a risk-based approach to supplier due diligence and supply chain monitoring.
Steps we take include:
- Working with recognised suppliers and reputable brands
- Requesting ethical trading statements or compliance confirmation where available
- Reviewing supplier terms and conditions to ensure ethical labour practices are expected
- Prioritising suppliers who can demonstrate strong standards in human rights, working conditions, and transparency
- Maintaining ongoing supplier relationships and monitoring performance over time
Where we identify areas of concern, we will take reasonable steps to investigate and, if required, cease trading with suppliers who fail to meet acceptable ethical standards.
6. Risk Assessment
We recognise that the highest modern slavery risks may exist further down the supply chain, particularly in overseas garment manufacturing, where risks may include:
- Excessive working hours
- Unsafe working conditions
- Underpayment of workers
- Use of forced or bonded labour
- Lack of freedom of movement or worker rights
Brexons Workwear remains committed to improving visibility within our supply chain and working with partners who support ethical manufacturing standards.
7. Training and Awareness
Brexons Workwear is committed to ensuring that our team understands the risks of modern slavery and how to recognise potential warning signs.
We aim to ensure relevant staff involved in purchasing and supplier engagement are aware of:
- The indicators of modern slavery and exploitation
- How to raise concerns internally
- Our expectations for supplier behaviour and compliance
As our business grows, we will continue to expand training and awareness across the company.
8. Reporting and Whistleblowing
Brexons Workwear encourages all employees, suppliers, and stakeholders to report any concerns relating to modern slavery, unethical working practices, or human trafficking.
Any concerns raised will be taken seriously, investigated appropriately, and handled confidentially wherever possible. We will ensure that individuals raising genuine concerns are protected from retaliation.
9. Continuous Improvement
Brexons Workwear recognises that tackling modern slavery requires ongoing commitment and continuous improvement. We will continue to develop our processes and strengthen our supply chain controls by:
- Improving supplier screening and monitoring
- Strengthening our supplier expectations and documentation
- Encouraging suppliers to adopt recognised ethical standards
- Reviewing and updating this statement annually
